of Western culture, but Father Arkadi Kebukaleshvili complained that he
has to explain to women worshippers that 'sexy' clothing is not acceptable
in the sanctuary.
The quiet spread of information and culture from the West is making an impact on life in Georgia, slowly becoming part of the landscape instead of a loud intruder. Experts like Nizharadze do not expect the Church's leadership to let go of their position of influence easily.
